By reducing wait-times and providing timely access, we aim to boost patient well-being and overall physical health while decreasing the burden placed on hospital infusion services.
Meet the Team
Dr. Adam Davidson, MD, CCFP-EM
Founder / Medical Director
Dr. Adam Davidson is an Emergency Physician at Lions Gate Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine. While continuing to work in the ER, Dr. Davidson has taken his years of clinical experience and developed an outpatient IV therapy clinic with a particular focus on intravenous iron treatment.
His clinic, Mainline Wellness, now offers health care practitioners safe, comfortable, convenient and rapid access to specialized outpatient services with the knowledge that their patients are receiving expert supervision and high-quality customer care.
Leah Thiessen
Nurse Practitioner
Leah has over 9 years of nursing experience specializing in Emergency and Urgent Care medicine. She graduated from the UBC Master of Nursing-Nurse Practitioner program in 2019 and has been working in Urgent and Primary Care since then. Prior to graduating, Leah worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Departments at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto for 7 years.
When not at work, Leah enjoys rowing with the Vancouver Rowing Club and hiking the North Shore mountains.
Laura Ellis
Nurse Practitioner
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Laura Ellis is a Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
Laura started her career as an Emergency room RN in 2010 and received her Masters of Nursing degree from Queen's University in 2019. She has a variety of clinical experiences including emergency medicine, travel nursing, public health, urgent and primary care, and telemedicine. Laura’s approach to clinical practice is holistic, focused on prevention, evidence based and imbued with compassion and genuine care. Laura is passionate about Women's health and achieving individualized, collaborative and empowered care for each one of her patients.
She is based out of Vancouver BC and in her free time enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, cooking, trying new restaurants and travelling.
